The Treasury Department manages open foreign currency positions arising from the Bank's activity and provides quotations for foreign exchange transactions requested by clients of the bank.

Spot foreign exchange

Foreign exchange spot - is an agreement between two parties (Bank-Client) for the purchase of one currency versus selling another currency at a price agreed between them that the settlement of this transaction made up the second day after the date of the agreement.

Future foreign exchange 

Future foreign exchange - is an agreement between two parties (bank-client), for the purchase of one currency versus another currency sale at a price agreed between them where the payment transaction is made later than two days from the date of the agreement.

For the above two products, quotations offered "bid-ask" are determined by the Treasury Department. Quotation "bid" is the exchange rate at which the bank wants to buy the strongest currency in trensaksion. Quotation "ask" is the exchange rate at which the bank wants to sell the strongest currency in the transaction.

The currencies that can be converted are: ALL, EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, JPY, DKK, NOK, AUD
